Mystical and moody, the tūī embodies an approaching storm. This image explores the impact of colonization and colonialism on NZ wildlife; a cataclysmic storm that is still raging.
Each print is also available as an embellished variation with the unique application of pearlescent pastels adding shimmer to the tūī's iridescent feathers.
An edition of 3 at 80x80cm is also available - price on application.
10% of the artist's proceeds go to Zealandia EcoSanctuary to support their conservation efforts.
