Swinging gracefully from a lichened branch, a tūī eyes you up, poi hanging from its neck like a punctuation mark.
This special duo has a print area approximately 50% larger than my other prints for even more tūī goodness! There's a size to suit every wall and budget.
This fine-art print comes on heavyweight matte fine art paper. Each print is hand-signed and editioned. Sizes refer to the printed region; paper prints have an additional white margin.

Did you know that tūī are also referred to as tui (without the macrons), parson bird, and Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae? They are beloved garden and forest birds, with a fascinating and complex song. Although uncommon in many areas of Aotearoa New Zealand, they are making a comeback in areas with good predator control, such as in Wellington. From only around twenty breeding pairs about 25 years ago, tūī are now ubiquitous in Wellington gardens - how amazing is that!
