Small works, big charm: exhibiting at Vintage Village Gallery, Raumati (15 Dec 2025 – 2 Feb 2026)
If you’re spending time on the Kāpiti Coast this summer, do check out the Vintage Village Gallery in Raumati. I'm participating in a group show, exhibiting pieces that are all about tiny details, whimsy, and watercolours.
I’m delighted to be exhibiting a selection of small original works and hand-embellished pieces, shown alongside the excellent coffee and relaxed atmosphere that the Vintage Village Cafe is known for.
What’s on the wall
This exhibition brings together a mix of:
- Tiny whimsical original watercolours
- Hand-embellished prints with added texture and detail
- Botanical watercolour prints and originals
- Photo-artistic works, hand-embellished with impasto gels and more
Some works are mounted on board, others are presented in upcycled and recycled frames.
All are small enough to tuck into a special spot, gift to a nature-lover, or take home without a measuring tape and a deep breath.
About the venue
Vintage Village Gallery is part café, part gallery — a lovely spot to linger with a coffee while browsing original art. It’s a space that suits small, characterful works, and I always enjoy seeing how people discover pieces while they’re there for entirely different reasons (coffee first, art second… or sometimes the other way around).

Perfect summer (and Christmas) pieces

- Nature-lovers who appreciate detail and storytelling
If you’ve been curious about my watercolours, embellished prints, or smaller originals, this is a great chance to see them in person.
Visiting the coast?
If you’re local — or just passing through Raumati this summer — do pop in. Grab a coffee, have a wander, and see what catches your eye.
And if you spot a piece and want to know more about it, I’m always happy to answer questions.
