About Art by Judi Lapsley Miller

Here you will find gorgeous, moody, imaginative, and joyful artworks featuring your most beloved birds and other wildlife. Our birds are already works of art! From kākā to tūī, pīwakawaka to toutouwai, and everyone in between, you'll find art here that will lift your heart and bring joy to your home.

There's art here to suit everyone. From intimate TinyArt that nestles on a shelf, to fine-art prints in a range of sizes, to huge statement-making feature wall pieces on metal.

My art is held in private collections in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, Europe, South East Asia, and the United States.

    Wildlife Stories

I'm a conservationist first and foremost and I love writing about our wildlife and creating photo essays. Go behind the scenes and read my Stories about conservation, birds, art, and bird art.

I love exhibiting, and you may see my art at NZ Academy of Fine Arts, Zealandia, and elsewhere. A highlight was exhibiting in the NZ Parliamentary Gallery.

    Art & Photography

Photographs are just the first step in my creative process. Using Photoshop, I digitally blend and transform images to create photo-artistic artworks. Some may look photorealistic but others will look painterly, depending on my intent. I also create mixed media and watercolour paintings.
