Who is watching whom? We catch our gentleman ornithologist at home in his parlour where he has all his tools of his trade ready to wing. Books, binoculars, a nice cuppa, and his pet. Featuring the North Island kākā. Featuring the North Island kākā.

In my "Flights of fancy", imagination takes over and roles are reversed - what would the curious and intelligent kākā parrots do in post-human and post-apocalyptic worlds? With steampunk elements and leftover human detritous, our courageous and curious kākā explore and adapt to their new world.
10% of proceeds from this picture go to Zealandia EcoSanctuary to support their conservation efforts. 
Available on Breathing Color Elegance Velvet fine art paper in an open edition at 18x18cm and 28x28cm, and on Breathing Color Canvas Lyve (rolled) at 50x50cm. Sizes above 18cm come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
Smaller prints are packaged in archival cellophane envelopes with a backboard, and are shipped flat with additional support. Larger prints and canvases are rolled in acid-free tissue and shipped in a mailing tube. Sizes referred to are the printed area - the actual size of the paper or canvas is larger to enable framing. Paper prints are signed and editioned below the image. Canvas prints are signed and editioned on the reverse of the canvas. Images are printed on demand - allow two weeks for printing before shipping.
