The sweetest wee pīwakawaka fantail sings to his friends from the vantage point of a harakeke stalk. I just love the golden light in this serene scene as dusk falls.
This first edition (1/10) A2 fine-art print is printed on archival Hahnemühle Photo Rag 308gsm paper with archival inks. The frame is a lovely textured wood, and I've mounted the print with a double matt - creamy off-white over bronze-gold (which perfectly matches the deep golds of the fantail). Framed with plain glass. The print size is 53x38cm and the overall frame size is 69.5 x 54.5 x 2.8cm.
Limited-edition archival prints are available unframed in various sizes.
Due to its large size, this artwork is available for pick-up or shipping in NZ only. I recommend sending unframed prints overseas.
The photos show the actual framed artwork, the digital image used to create the artwork, and a close-up of the frame, mats and signature.
This print includes a 10% donation to Forest & Bird. This piece debuted at the "Feathers & Foliage: celebrating 100 years of Forest & Bird" exhibition in July 2023.
