Each unique print of this sophisticated tūī in his black suit and fancy bow tie is embellished with hand-painted pearlescent acrylic inks or watercolours, each with a different colour mix. The photos do not do the shimmery iridescence justice! Each shimmers and shines and fluctuates depending on the light. (The third image shows a close-up of an embellished print, but it is not the one in the frame - it is included so you can see the detail in the print).
