SOLD at the NZ Academy of Fine Arts "Matariki Exhibition" July 2023, where it won the President's Award.
Uncover the hidden beauty of the natural world with this gorgeous framed extra-large fine-art metal print. Showcasing a pair of nocturnal kākāpō settling in to roost in a glorious bay, it is brought to life on Chromalux fine-art metal with a striking wide gold frame. Perfect for any living space, this feature piece will make an impact.
This framed extra-large limited-edition archival print is 3/5 in this size. The print size is 80x80cm and the overall framed size is 92x92cm.
Archival prints, available unframed, come in a range of sizes. Due to its large size, this artwork is available for pick-up or shipping in NZ only. I recommend sending unframed prints overseas.
This print includes a 10% donation to Kākāpō Recovery Trust. It uses reference photos by Dr Andrew Digby. Exhibited at Waiata Manu 2023 in the Te Papakura Gallery, NZ Parliament (Beehive). (See third photo, courtesy of Te Papakura Gallery)
