See my art at Wellington Airport: Manu Muramura (22 Dec 2025 – 10 Mar 2026)
If you’re passing through Wellington Airport this summer, keep an eye out for the Manu Muramura exhibition by the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts.
I’m delighted to have two large works included in this show:
- At what cost forever (tūī) — 80 × 80 cm fine-art metal print
- Sweet Dreams (ruru) — 80 × 80 cm fine-art metal print
About the exhibition
The Academy invited work responding to themes of flight, movement, sky and waves, created to complement the new Manu Muramura bird sculpture at Wellington International Airport.
Manu Muramura Exhibition

Why metal prints?
Metal prints are one of my favourite ways to present bird art when you want colour, depth, and durability — they have a luminous, modern finish that holds up beautifully in bright light and busy spaces.
If you’ve never seen a fine-art metal print in person, this exhibition is a great chance.
Want the nerdy (but useful) details? I wrote a short explainer here: All about fine art metal prints.
Visiting Wellington this summer?
